Main

Jared R. Dmello, Ph.D.

I am an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice & Criminology at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. My research focuses on illicit networks, inclusive of terrorism, criminal street gangs, and cartels. I have experience in implementing a broad array of methodologies within my research, but I am best known for my work with network science. An award winning scholar and teacher, I am passionate about finding new knowledge that addresses the problems in the United States and abroad, while aiming to provide practitioners with data-driven recommendations for policy change.
